Cellllllll-a-brate Good Times (C’mon!)

Here at The Breakroom, we encourage folks to Take 5—you know, a few little breathers in the midst of life. But really, we want you to take all the time you need for your meetings, retreats, brainstorming sessions, trainings, crafting, family functions, bridal showers, book signings, team-buildings, anniversaries… You know: Pretty much every “thing.” Toward this end, we offer several ways to Take 5, from The Breakroom’s Celebrating Celebrations: An Opus In Four Movements.

1. Birthday Celebrations

Few things are as easily celebrated as being born, so why not take advantage of this? From first-year smash cakes to Grandma’s 100th, The Breakroom offers a lovely, colorful backdrop to honor the fact that your favorite people are here—and that’s celebration-worthy. Schedule some platters and drinks from Newport Ave. Market and drink a toast to another great year of doing life together.

“A birth-date is a reminder to celebrate the life as well as to update the life.”
― Amit Kalantri, “Wealth of Words

2. All-New-Things Celebrations

Skip the same-old, same-old. We have, here at The Breakroom! Instead, we’re all about the new. New places, new spaces, new friends, jobs, skills, businesses…new beginnings, all worth noting. From a couple of people to full-on corporate trainings or book launches, we’ll make beautiful music together with planning, seating, decorating, arranging refreshments, and more.

“Celebrate new beginnings.”

3. Existential Celebrations

You know what we mean here? These are the soul-filling things we need way more often than we allow ourselves to have: Time for deep conversations with friends; time for crafting and creative pursuits; time to think alongside a comforting cup of coffee; time to contemplate rough endings or hope-filled beginnings. Think less balloons and streamers and more a beautiful oasis filled with color and care. Because that’s what we want to provide at The Breakroom.

“Some people found it hard to celebrate when life sucked so much. Brennan said the best time to celebrate was when life sucked the most.”
―
Emilee King, “Surviving through the Night

4. Just-Because Celebrations

Tuesday Night celebrations! I Just Recorded My First Podcast celebrations! I Reconnected With A Long-Lost Friend celebrations! My Back-Ordered Crafting Supplies Just Came In celebrations! The possibilities are numerous, and so are the opportunities at The Breakroom. Whatever you need, we’ve got a celebration for that.

“I forgot what we were celebrating. Because we were always celebrating something, a new job, a new poem, a new love, a new dream.”
― Audre Lorde, “Zami: A New Spelling of My Name
